$50,000 for 50 years of Title IX

We are continuing our efforts to raise $50,000 for 50 years of Title IX. Through the generous donations on #GivingDay, November 29th, we raised a grand total of $12,775.00. We don't want to stop here! Let's continue to show how generous our women's basketball community is by keeping the momentum going to accomplish our #50kfor50yrs of Title IX campaign goal.

We are more than just a museum. We are an experience that provides programming for the future, celebrations for the present, and ceremonies that honor the trailblazers who have paved the way for many women and women's basketball. Through your generous donation, we are able to provide educational programs, empowerment programs, leadership programs, and additional impactful youth programs. It will allow the Hall to enhance our celebration of the game and provide avenues to reach a global audience. We want to grow our game's visibility and Hall of Fame. We would not be able to continue to inspire yesterday's, today's, and tomorrow's future without the generous support of our donors! WHO IS THE WBHOF?

We are the only facility of its kind in the world, the keepers of the history of women's basketball. We stand proud of our 35,000-square-foot museum. A home dedicated to avid women's basketball fans and non-women's basketball fans. A non-profit organization that educates, engages, and empowers the future girl to the present woman! We honor the past, celebrate the present, and promote the future of all ages of our game, women's basketball.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

Providing the youth with engaging and interactive fun! We combine the game of basketball with math, science, and history. The beauty of sport is how relatable it can be to all aspects of life. We inspire the fun of basketball to teach different subjects. We host many groups and schools on field trips! Not only do we provide educational field trips for the surrounding counties but we also provide traveling exhibits educating & inspiring on a national stage.

EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMS

Our partnership with Girl Scouts of East Tennessee has been a long-lasting partnership in that our staff provides empowerment through the stories of our inductees. In this program, Girl Scouts will learn what it means to feel empowered, how to find or be a mentor, how to lead by example, how to be a better listener, and how to build up their self-confidence.

LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS

In 2023, we will be incorporating the late, great Pat Summitt's Definite Dozen to help mold the future women leaders of tomorrow! We will be able to provide leadership programming through the 12 pillars that Coach Pat Summitt lived by and created a winning culture of excellence as head coach of the eight-time NCAA National Champions, the University of Tennessee Lady Volunteers. She created champions of the game and left her legacy by molding her players into some of today's biggest women leaders in business and sports!
